Kishor Mehta to become Ambassador for World Civility Day

CHICAGO: Leading Indian community activist Kishor Mehta has added another feather to his cap by bagging a prestigious World Civility Award from the globally expanding World Civility Day body.

Announcing the bestowing of the award, Dr. Clyde Rivers, Global Spokesman for the World Civility Day, said that Kishor Mehta is now in the august company of world leaders like Zambian President Kenneth Kaunda, who was the first recipient of this award

Kishor Mehta is the Chairman of Multi Ethnic Advisory Task Force (MEATF) and American Multi Ethnic Coalition (AMEC) and in the words of Dr Vijay Prabhaker, the founding head of these two bodies. The World Civility Award 2019 is being conferred on Mehta in recognition of his service to mankind.

The award will be presented on World Civility Day April 14 by the State Senate of Indiana.

Mehta will be inducted as Ambassador for World Civility by Bob Hiese, Executive Editor of Northwest Indiana Times at the awards ceremony.
