G. B Entertainment and Sameep Kang’s Hindi movie ‘Second Hand Husband’ has not only become the center of attraction for the metro Mumbai but is also getting Bollywood producers’ attention and creating a buzz around. Reviews and comments by the film industry promise the film to be a super hit and discuss a sensitive topic as divorce in a lighter vein.
The movie will be Gippy Grewal’s outstanding presentation in Bollywood. This is also a debut film for actress Tina Ahuja, daughter of Govinda. Govinda said that it’s not just his daughter’s debut film but it has also brought laurels to a father’s career. Salman Khan said that the film is not only meant to be watched by the whole family but is also full of entertainment. Big B, Amitabh Bachchan congratulated director Sameep Kang on this first directorial debut in the Bollywood.
Tina Ahuja said that it’s her filmy name. She was born with the name ‘Narmada’. She was influenced by the acting skills of Gippy in the film ‘Carry on Jatta’ and she herself contacted director Sameep Kang to work in the movie ‘Second Hand Husband’. At that time he was working on Mukta Arts production.
“I liked the script of the movie and with the consent of my father Govinda, I became the heroine of the flim Second Hand Husband as Gurpreet. This movie is really close to my heart as I am half Punjabi,” she added. “I play an attorney and Gippy comes to me for divorce and I trap him”.
She is hopeful that she will get the credit of her father’s name. She also believes she has enjoyed a lot working with Dharam Paaji and learned a lot from him.
Gippy Grewal was given his break in Hindi cinema by the Gakhal brothers. He has conquered all non-Punjabi hearts with his song ‘Angrezi Beat’. The film song ‘Mith Meri Jaan’ and ‘Bad Baby’ are loved by millions based on YouTube views.
A press conference was held for the Poster Release and Music Launch of the movie Second Hand Husband at Union City (California). The film is produced by Gakhal Brothers (Amolak S Gakhal, Iqbal S Gakhal, Palwinder Singh Gakhal) who live in Watsonville, California.
Releasing on July 3rd worldwide, the movie according to the critics is ‘Special’.
