CHICAGO: After the successful release of “Bol re Dilli Bol”, Munish Raizada Films has released their second song called the “Chanda Song”. The song is also a part of the upcoming web series called ‘Transparency: Pardarshita’.
‘Produced by Dr Munish Raizada, ‘Kitna Chanda Jeb Mein Aaya’ or the ‘Chanda Song’ is about political funding. Political funding is a way by which political parties raise money for the campaign and routine activities. All political parties are publicly funded, i.e., depended upon public donations.
The song is sung by the famous singer Udit Narayan. The music is composed by Pravesh Mallick and written by Annu Rizvi.
Like all political parties, the AAP is also publicly funded. When AAP was formed, it was rooted in three principles – Internal Vigilances, Transparency in Political Funding and Decentralization of Power. The party started a new chapter in the Indian public’s life by asking for donations via crowdfunding and hence set an ideal for transparency in political funding. So much so, that Arvind Kejriwal, the CM of Delhi that time challenged all the other parties to follow suit.
The Aam Aadmi Party had promised alternative politics. People had seen hope in the party. But when the AamAadmi party removed its donors’ list from the website in June 2016, they not only strayed from the core principle of the party but also slipped away from the parameter of accountability and transparency.
“KitnaChanda Jeb Mein Aaya” song is a reflection of disappointment and anguish by common man against the system. It is a clarion call. The song is an appeal to the party to set their politics YouTube link of Trailer of the Hindi web series named “Transparency”
