Nav Ratri celebrated at Fremont templeFREMONT, California: Nav Ratri Mata Ka Vishal Jagran was celebrated April 13 at the Fremont Hindu Temple. Renowned singer from Los Angeles Amit Anand kept the devotees mesmerized until morning. A large number of devotees attended the Jagran. A special “priti bhoj” was sponsored by the temple for all devotees.

Veena Birla, owner of Bharat Bazar, Chairperson Jagrata and Mata Rani devotee worked diligently to make this event successful. Veena was helped by Manorama Joshi, Trustee, Rekha Malik, Avinash and many other volunteers of the temple.

Joy and Neepa Garg and Taresh and Swapnil Anand were the main “yajman” of the event. Garg and Taresh made a significant donation to the temple. Romesh Japra, MD and Chairman, Rajesh Verma, Co-Chairman, and Manorama Joshi, Trustee and Festival of Globe team honored the services of Veena Birla by presenting a plaque to her. Rakesh Kapoor of Infocus Photography was also commended for his unconditional work.
