CHICAGO: Global Gayatri Pariwar Chicago and Gayatri Shaktipeeth Chicago celebrated Gurupurnima festival with 108 Kundi Gayatri Yagya on Sunday 15 July, from 11am to 2pm at Desplaines Lake Opeka Park.
Chief Guest Mafatbhai Patel, CEO of Patel Brothers, Honorable guest Santosh Kumar, CEO of MAFS and Invited guests Sohanbhai Joshi, Haribhai Patel, President of Bharatiya Senior Center of Chicago, inaugurated souvenir book Mahakal ki Mahakranti and new audio CD Gayatri Upasna.
The audio CD “Gayatri Upasana” is a collection of 8 melodious bhajans sung by Manish Khullar, a disciple of Rajan-Sajan Mishra and Dr. Kusum Devi, disciple of Pandit Shree Ram Sharma Acharya. The CD contains not only bhajans but also teach how to live the life with devotion by gaining peace, meditation, health and prosperity.
Rakeshbhai & Falguniben Thakkar, Mahendrabhai & Surekhaben Patel, Kamleshbhai & Nayanaben Patel were main yajmans of the Yagya. All the devotees including main yajmans offered their Gaaytri Mantra aahutiis.
With the blessings of Pujya Gurudev, Vandniya Matajee & Gayatri Mata, the environment turned to spiritual bliss. Pragya Sangeet, lecture and description of mantras was done by Dr Kusumben along with Manish Khullar. Gayatri Mantra’s tantric Aahuti was recited by Rajnibhai Modi.
The decoration work was highly appreciated, which was done by a team of hard working persons like Dalubhai, Nanubhai, Shashikantbhai Patel & others. Arvindbhai Darji, Hemantbhai Chandel helped in kitchen arrangement. Dilipbhai expressed thanks to all supporters on behalf of Global Gayatri Pariwar.
