Deepika Padukone is considered to be one of the top actors in the film industry yet, she doesn’t consider herself part of the competition. “I don’t believe in the number race. I focus on my work and believe in competing with myself. I think what you achieve in your life is the result of your own talent and hard work,” states the 27 year old.
The actress is currently working on two films – Chennai Express with Shah Rukh Khan and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani with Ranbir Kapoor.
Deepika says she doesn’t even consider herself as a star, just the normal girl her age who is working. “I consider myself to be any other girl who is of my age who is working. I have completely enjoyed the five-year journey. Every film has taught me and so has every co-star I have worked with,”
It’s all about work for the star. When approached about love and relationship, Deepika says that she simply doesn’t have time for love or relationships as she is “not at all in the frame of mind to be in a relationship. I have no time.”
