NRI writer’s book Zindagi Di Kunji released

Zindagi Di Kunji, a Punjabi book authored by US-based writer Master Nirmal Singh Lali, was released at a function here.

The release function was organized jointly by local Sarab Naujawan Sabha, Punjabi Virsa Trust Phagwara and Charhdikala Sikh Organisation of UK.

NRI writers Gurdial Singh Kular (from US), Balbir Singh Ubhie and Satnam Singh Ubhie (both from UK), noted columnist Gurmit Palahi, industrialist Ashwani Kohli, Husan Lal, Satpal Lamba were in the presidium.

Organizer Sukhwinder Singh, and poets Ravinder Chot and Manoj Phagwarvi were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, the presidium members said that Lali remained rooted to his native land even though he was settled on foreign shores.

Calling him a writer of the common man, they appreciated his simple diction.
