PORTLAND, Oregon: With exciting solo performers and teams, superb performances line-up, opportunity to meet and greet Bollywood celebrity Meenakshi Seshadri, some Indian delicacies and awesome Indian collections from vendors, some games, some fun and lots of love – “Portland Got Moves” aims to expose Portland to Indian culture September 14.

Portland Got Moves is a dance Showcase with a difference. Bollywood celebrity actor and dancer Meenakshi Seshadhri will grace the event as the chief judge. Well known dancers Aarti Choudhary and Shweta Shukla will bring the ultimate Desi Dance moves for the first time in Oregon.

A commitment to excellence and to provide every dancer with an outstanding opportunity to display their talent is the driving force behind the event. It will combine rhythm and spirit and integrate various styles of dance in celebration of culture, where the East meets the West.

It will be a dance show with four categories – solo and group performances, Bollywood, fusion, folk and around the world. Participating teams will be given training on networking with peers, how to handle disappointment, and physical strength.
