NEVADA: In a remarkable interfaith gesture, Luther James DuPree Junior, Bishop of Rehoboth Holy Temple (Church of God in Christ), recently presented a testimonial to d Hindu statesman Rajan Zed.
This testimonial; handed to Zed by Bishop DuPree in a public ceremony held in the briefing room of Reno Police Headquarters; was titled as “Rajan Zed, Global Religious Statesman”.Speaking on the occasion, Bishop DuPree said:” I would like to commend Rajan for all the good things that he has done in this community.”
Rajan Zed is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, had been panelist for “On Faith”, a prestigious interactive conversation on religion produced by The Washington Post; and has been producing weekly interfaith panel “Faith Forum” in a Gannett daily for over 11 years.BishopDuPree, described as a powerhouse preacher, has been reportedly overseeing five Churches of God in Christ in Northern Nevada.
