CHICAGO: Comedian and writer Jagdish Trivedi had a dream cometh true when he built an ashram in Selamba village in Sagbara taluka of Narmada district in Gujarat, India providing a facility for a total of 15 needy tribal children, to stay and study there.

Swami Sachchidanandji, a revolutionary saint and a popular writer inaugurated the building on Wednesday morning, June 14, 2021 with four classrooms on the ground floor and two residential halls of hostel on the first floor.

Jagdish Trivedi was involved actively in launching a government school named after his wife on his birthday and today he was part of a government school named after his son Maulik on his birthday.

This is the fifth government school built by him in addition to a Women’s library and a Children’s library. With the inauguration the amount of his personal donation has crossed two crores.
