Madhuri Dixit who romances veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah in ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ says she was shy while shooting intense scenes with the actor.
‘Dedh Ishqiya’ is a sequel to 2010 hit movie ‘Ishqiya’. Madhuri Dixit and Huma Qureshi are the new additions while Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi continue their roles from the prequel.
At the launch of the trailer of the movie, Madhuri said, “I was not nervous working with him. His eyes had an intense feeling. Whenever we did intense scenes, I was feeling shy. He is a natural actor, you just have to react when you act with him.”
She then said, “I was comfortable working with him. I was just playing the character… had fun.”
Madhuri Dixit is playing the role of a begum in this movie. There are grey shades to her character.
