Tanikella presents discourse on ‘Siva Tatvam’

DALLAS, TX: Telugu Association of North America (TANA) along with Sanatana Dharma Foundation (SDF) and Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple (KSTH) conducted “Siva Tatvam” a spiritual discourse by famous movie actor, writer and director Tanikella Bharani at KSTH. It was well received by a houseful audience who enjoyed each moment with a lot of devotion.

Gopal Ponangi of Sanatan Dharma Foundation introduced Mr Tanikella stating that he hails from a literary family with a lineage of eminent people like Sri Viswanatha Satyanarayana and one of Telugu poet duo Tirupathi Venkata Kavulu Divakarla Tirupati Sastry. Bharani garu acted in more than 650 films in various roles and won prestigious Nandi awards three times.

Tanikella Bharani narrated Shiva Tatvam in colloquial Telugu language filled with a lot of humor and sang many songs melodiously penned by him. He referred and appreciated the great works of famous poets like Dhurjati Kavi who wrote Sri Kalahastiswara Satakam. Tanikella explained and connected Siva Tatvam in our day to day lives. Two and half hours long splendid spiritual journey ended with an emotional touch by Bharani garu singing his own famous song “Aatagadhara Siva” expressing his devotion to Lord Siva.

Dr. Prakash Rao Velagapudi, President of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) &Chairman of (KSTH) reiterated the objective and mission of GHHF which is to protect, preserve, promote, and maintain Hindu culture, Hindu temples, mutts, peethams, endowments, trusts and other institutions globally. Sri RK Vellanki, the President of the Temple gave overview of the Temple.

Dr. Prasad Thotakura, former President of TANA, highlighted multifaceted talents of Tanikella who touched so many hearts with his spiritual, acting and directing talents.

Srikanth Polavarapu, TANA SW Regional Representative, in his vote of thanks appreciated the support of SDF, KSTH, musicians Srinivas Prabhala, Raju, scores of volunteers and all attendees who made the event successful.

Tanikella Bharani for his superb job in spreading Siva Tatvas to reach out to the common people.
