Umiya Dham Chicago welcomes Jyoti Rath

CHICAGO: More than 500 members and devotees participated in the first Padharamni, Jyoti Rath Yatra. They welcomed it with chanting “Bolmari Umiya Jai Jai Umiya” at Manav Seva Mandir in Bensenville a northwest suburb of Chicago.

Manav Seva Mandir’s President Rajubhai Chauhan and Shree Umiya Dham Chicago’s Trustee Chhotalal Patel welcomed the first Umiya Mata Rath with Puja performed by Mandir’s priest.

During the Shobha Yatra devotees gathered and played Garba. The Mandir management organized “Satya Narayan Katha and Aarti.

Shree Umiya Dham Chicago Trustees thanked the Mandir officials for hosting this great event – the first Padharamni of Shree Umiya Mata.

Narendrabhai Patel, a prominent activist of the Dham, said we would like to express our gratitude to Mandir priest and all committee members and activists including Dr Bharat Bhai, Dahya Bhai, Sandip Bhai and many others as well as the team members of Shree Umiya Mata Dham.
