YouTube comedy sensations enthral LPU students

PHAGWARA: One of the over 200 student organizations of Lovely Professional University (LPU), Wings of Hope, organized a rib-tickling entertaining event ‘Fan Fest 2.0’ at Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium of the university. For this, renowned YouTube comedians from across the country came to LPU to entertain as well awaken thousands of their student admirers.

Using diverse genres of the best humor including puns, gags, jokes, pranks, sarcasm, satire, irony, wit, parody, mockery, ridicules, one-liners and more, the visiting 10 laughter sparking artists conveyed their honey coated quinine messages for seeing a prosperous and peaceful global society.

These included Harsh Beniwal, Amit Badhana, Harshdeep Ahuja, Elvish Yadav and the groups Round2Hell and RealShit.

With Millions of fans, Harsh Beniwal has now transited from a YouTuber to a Bollywood actor with his debut in the film ‘Student of the Year 2’.

“If I can, anyone can make it to Bollywood without any contacts, only mad passion for the same is needed…but, this passion can take a toll on your academics. Here, parents’ and fans’ support provides a marvellous strength through which one can surely be successful,” Beniwal said

With contents of mostly college-humour and day-to-day life, his YouTube channel has millions of subscribers.

Similarly, Harshdeep Ahuja,an engineer by profession, drew roars of laughter while talking about his rocking videos like “Punjabi Dad’s English”, “Budget 2019 Explained”, and “The Love Letter”. He said that he has always been smitten by the passionate love of making others laugh and learn.

Using rural language style, Amit Bhadana easily descended deep into the hearts of his fans to convey his messages. He also talked about his interesting video “Padhaku vs Last Bencher”.  Elvish Yadav and six members of the groups Round2Hell and RealShit also entertained the students in their own individual styles.
